Tender for IPL broadcast opened
The BCCI has opened the tender process for the next cycle of IPL television and digital rights beginning in 2018, and will accept bids until October 25. The television rights are presently held by Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI) and expire after the 2017 IPL season.
BCCI president Anurag Thakur assured that the tender process would be transparent and that no one could point finger at them.
The Invitation To Tender document will be available from Monday.
