Second Edition of Everest Premier League in December

The announcement was made during an event organized in Kathmandu on Sunday to unveil the tournament’s logo. The logo was unveiled by coach of Nepali team Jagat Tamata, captain of Nepali team Paras Khadka and tournament founder Aamir Akhtar.
The tournament will be played in round robin league format. The champion team will take home Rs 2.1 million.The Nepali players will be divided into three categories namely A, B, and C with specific base pay before putting them up for auction.

Each team will have apool of 15 players–10 selected through an auction, one local player chosen through a talent hunt (conducted by the franchise itself in the local city) and one marquee player (optional). Each franchise will have to feature three foreign players in its team to complete its quota of 15 players.
