Rupandehi into playoffs after beating Kathmandu Goldens

Having won the toss, Rupandehi elected to bat first and scored 135/9 from 20 overs. Shankar Rana and Nurdhoj Sen put on 46 runs for the second wicket after first wicket was down early in the innings. Nurdhoj scored 37 runs while Shankar contributed 16 runs. Puspa Thapa scored 36 runs as Rupandehi managed to put 135 on the board. Sompal was the pick of the bowlers for Kathmandu Goldens as he finished with the figures of 4-21.
In reply, Kathmandu Goldens fell short of the target by 15 runs. Sumit Maharjan was the top scorer for Goldens with 27 runs while Shubendu Pandey and Rohit Paudel scored 20 runs each. Shakti Gauchan bagged 3 while Bikram Sob and Krishna Karki picked up 2 wickets each for Rupandehi.
