Real Madrid to hold farewell event for Marcelo

Real Madrid have announced to organize a special farewell event for veteran Brazilian footballer Marcelo Vieira. As per the official announcement, the event will be accompanied by Florentino Perez, the club President too.

Marcelo have been a part of the club since 2007 with an illustrious career spanning over 15 years at the club.

Marcelo have had the please of 25 trophies with the club - the most among any other players. He is also the first non-Spanish player to captain Real Madrid to the league title and the Champions League title.

He will be afforded a special press conference at the club’s facilities and will be allowed, alongside his family, to pose with the trophies he has won and say final farewells to the fans.
