International Cricket Council (ICC) has terminated the control funding imposed on Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

CAN released a statement on Tuesday stating control funding had been completely cut off.

CAN was suspended by ICC previously. The suspension was uplifted by CAN after new working committee was formed from the special general assembly. However, the control funding was still on.

According to CAN, the ICC has completely removed control funding based on the new committee's assessment of financial transparency and performance in meeting all ICC criteria.

Along with the termination of control funding, Nepal will now be able to receive financial grants and activities from the ICC like other one-day nations.

All ICC restrictions on CAN have been lifted now, along with control funding.
