EPL 2nd Day: Pokhara beat Chitwan, Biratnagar beat Lalitpur

Biratnagar defeated Lalitpur by 6 runs in a competitive match while Pokhara Rhinos completely outplayed Chitwan Tigers beating them by 10 wickets.
In the first match of the day, Chitwan Tigers finished on 113/9 from 20 overs in their first innings. Dipendra Singh Airee captained the side in the absence of Prithu Baskota. Dipendra was the top scorer for Chitwan with a 32 ball 42 with 6 fours and a six. Anil Mandal scored 32 runs from 44 balls with 3 fours and a six to his name. No other batsmen could reach double digit figure for Chitwan as they ended up on 113/9. Israrullah was the pick of the bowlers for Pokhara as he finished with the figures of 4-22. Taj Wali picked up 2 wickets while Bikram Sob and Shakti Gauchan shared a wicket each.
Pokhara in reply got to the target without losing a single wicket. OpenersIsrarullah (61) and Sunil Dhamala (46) put on a unbeaten partnership of 116 runs for the first wicket as Pokhara won the match comprehensively by 10 wickets.
In the second match of the day, the victorious team from the first day, Lalitpur Patriots faced Biratnagar Warriors. Biratnagar batted first added scored 150/6 from 20 overs. Anil Kumar Sah was the top scorer for Biratnagar with 47 runs. Skipper Paras Khadka and Babar Hayat scored 38 and 34 runs respectively to put on a competitive score on the board. Sandeep Lamichhane picked up 2 wickets for Lalitpur while Yogesh Nagar and Suboth Bhati shared a wicket each.
Lalitpur in reply fell 6 runs short of the target. Opener Pawan Sarraf played well for his 47 ball 51 with 6 fours and a six. Yogesh Nagar scored 27 runs before getting bowled to Paras Khadka while Kushal Bhurtel remained unbeaten on 20 runs with a four and a six.
