The biggest domestic league in the history of Nepal Cricket will be started from Chaitra 5th, 2073 and is named as SAGARMATHA CEMENT DHANGADHI PREMIER LEAGUE (DPL). The program has been organized by merging DCL/SPA in a tribute to ARJUN KHADKA.

Subash Shahi is the President of Dhangadhi Cricket Academy (DCA). Subash Shahi said, "Teams from six cities will be participating in the tournament where Kathmandu, Rupandehi, Attariya and Dhangadhi are already fixed and remaining teams will be announced later."

Teams that will participate in the tournament will be announced on Poush 21, 2073. To play in the tournament matches the players have to register their name in the Dhangadhi Cricket Academy (DCA) then only the auction criteria will be started from Poush 23, 2073 in Kathmandu. The minimum base prize of players that had already played from Nepal Cricket Team will be Rs 50,000 and U-19 players of Nepal will be Rs 30,000 and for other cricketers will be Rs 20,000.

The main sponsor will be Sagarmatha Cement which will give Rs 15 lakh to the organizers and co-sponsor will be Raaika Tours and Travels, Bells Cafe, Hotel Devotee, Chaudhary Book Depo and CPAN. And the promoters of the tournament will be Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Dhangadi Sub-Metropolitan, Hotel Association of Kailali, District Development Committee of Kailali and Cricket Players Associations of Nepal.

Rules of the Tournament:

1. Each team will have 15 members and 1 coach will be provided.
2. Each team can include 2 number foreign players in the playing eleven.
3. Each team can register 3 number of foreign players.

Prizes:
1. Winner will receive Rs 15 Lakh Cash (Trophy + Medal)
2. Runnerup will receive Rs 7 Lakh Cash (Trophy + Medal)
3. Man of The Series will be Motorbike
4. Man of The Match will be Rs 10 Thousand (Per Match)
