Ashwin and Pujara ensure 3-0 whitewash

Ravichandran Ashwin's 6 wickets and Cheteswor Pujara's fine 100 ensured India a win over New Zealand by a huge margin of 321 runs. India now are ranked at top in test ranking.Virat Kohli was handed the ICC Test championship mace at the end of the match.
Gambhir provided the initial momentum with an aggressive 50 off just 56 ballsas Vijay got out early. Pujara proved his ability to score fast as he took charge after Gambhir got out. India declared one ball after Pujara scored his century.
Chasing a mamooth target of 475 New Zealand were 38/1 at tea breaks. But the last session of the day went to the Man of the Series Ravichandran Ashwin. His excellent figures of 59/7 totally destroyed the Kiwi batting. Ashwin continued to trouble Kane WIlliamson and Ross Taylor as he did in previous occassions and got both of them.
New Zealand lostnine wickets for 115 runs in the last session of the fourth day. Ashwin was awarded both Man of the Match as well as Man of the Series.
