Pakistan has announced an 18-member squad for the Test series against Sri Lanka.  scheduled from July 16 to 28. Pakistan are touring Srilanka in July for 2 Tests that will be part of the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle.

The test series is expected to play a crucial part in defining the journey of these teams in ICC World Test Championship. Pakistan is currently at 5th position while Srilanka are 4th in the table.

Babar Azam will be leading the Pakistan team. Yasir Shah has returned to the national side after recovering from injury. He last played a Test in August 2021. Yasir was a prominent member when Pakistan defeated Srilanka 2-1 when last time Pakistan toured Srilanka.
