South Africa batted first and set a total of 146 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. For Nepal, the allround performance of Sunil Rana Magar helped to win where Sunil Rana Magar scored 38 runs in just 35 balls and taking 2 wickets of South African batsman. Sunil Rana Magar was also adjudged Man of the Match. Sunil Subedi Chhetri scored 46 runs from 33 balls and hit the winning run for Nepal. The openeres of Nepal Ramesh Bahadur Baniya scored 24 runs, Lok Bahadur Thapa scored 9 runs and Sunil Thapa Magar 5 runs.
