Kanchanpur Iconic brought up their first win in Dhangadi Premier League (DPL) with a 11 run victory against Dhangadhi Team Chauraha. This is second consecutive loss for Team Chauraha.

Kanchanpur Iconic batted first and managed 105/6 from 20 overs. The openers Sunil Dhamala (20) and Sagar Pun (39) started well as they put on 57 runs for the first wicket. But Iconic lost 4 more wickets for just 48 runs. Siddhant Lohani remained notout on 27 as Iconic crossed 100 runs. Ramnaresh Giri and Aarif Sheikh shared 2 wickets each for Chauraha.

In reply, Chauraha was allout for 94 runs as they fell short of the target by 11 runs. Chauraha had lost 5 wickets for 96 as they needed 16 more runs to win. But they lost remaining 5 wickets for just 4 runs. Skipper Paras Khadka scored 23 while Aarif Sheikh managed 22 runs. Avinash Karn picked up 3 wickets while Lalit Singh Bhandari shared 2 wickets each. Avinash Karn was named Man of the Match for his excellent bowling performance.
