Friendly T20 between Nepal and Srilanka postponed
April 22, 2017 | SportsGuff Team 950 ReadsThe friendly T20 tournament between Nepal and Srilanka scheduled to begin from 25th April has been postponed. The tournament was being organized by Periwinkle Serviceto mark the 60th Diplomatic ties between Nepal and Sri lanka.
The tournament has been postponed due to local election issue and other technical issues. The new dates for the tournament is yet to be announced.
The former Sri Lankan star left-handed batsman and all-rounder Sanath Jayasuriya, vetaran Arvinda De Silva, the 39 years old slow left arm orthodox bowler Rangana Herath, the left-handed Upul Tharanga and bowling all-rounder Sachithra Senanayake were set to come to Nepal to play the T20 series in T.U Ground, Kirtipur.
