DPL Teams and Captains Announced
The captains and franchises for the biggest cricket premier league in Nepal, Dhangadi Premier League (DPL) has now been announced. The tournament is going to be held from 5th of Chaitra in which 6 teams will be competing against each other.
The captains and franchise for respective teams are as follows:

The announcement was made in a press conference held in Kathmandu on Thursday. The captians were select by lucky draw.
Players Selection Process:
Teams will select players in auction from among 217 players registered. The auction will be held on Poush 23, Saturday. The registered players are classified into 4 divisions. Players from first division will have base price of 50 thousand, second division of 30 thousand, third division of 25 thousand and forth division of 20thousand base price.
The maximum limit of expense for a team will be 7 lakhs for 14 players excluding captain. Each team should have 4 uncapped players.
The expected expense of the tournament is 1 crore 60 lakhs rupees. The winner will get 15 lakhs and first runner up will get 7 lakhs. The best player from the tournament will TVS Apache RTR 200 bike. Man of the match from each match will receive a cash of 10 thousand. No foreign players will be playing the tournament in this first edition.
