After the successful completion of Everest Premier League (EPL) in Kathmandu, Dhangadi Premier League (DPL) is set to start from Chaitra 17 in Dhangadi. The player registration has been started and the registration will be open till Magh 25.

The winner of the tournament will get 25 lakhs while the runner up will receive 10 lakhs. Best player of the tournament will get a TVS motorcycle. The total budget of the tournament will be 3 crores while 50 lakhs will be the total prize amount.

The auction is scheduled to be held on 5th Falgun. Six teams will be participating in the tournament as in the previous edition but each team will have to include 2 foreign players and a player from Far Western Region.
