Biratnagar Kings and Dhangadi Team Chauraha to compete in the finals

Dhangadi Team Chauraha and Biratnagar Kings will be battling against each other in the finals of the ongoing Dhangadi Premier League on 22nd April, Saturday. Chauraha secured a place in the finals by defeating Rupandehi Challengers in the second qualifier by 92 runs.

Chauraha won the toss in the second qualifier and elected to bat first and managed to put up a challenging total of 172/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Skipper Paras played a captain's knock as he remained unbeaten on 67 off 41 deliveries with 6 fours and 4 sixes. Raju Rijal at the top scored 25 runs while Saurav Khanal blasted 2 sixes and 2 fours in his 8 ball 24 at the end. Krishna Karki was the pick of the bowlers for Rupandehi as he finished with the figures of 2-40.

Rupandehi in reply never looked like chasing the target. They kept on losing wickets in regular intervals and was bowled out for just 80 runs. Krishna Karki and Rajesh Pulami scored 14 runs each while Puspa Thapa scored 13 runs. No other batsmen could reach double digit scores for Rupandehi. Lalit Rajbanshi and Saurav Khanal picked up 3 wickets each while Aarif Sheikh chipped in with 2 wickets. Paras Khadka was named Man of the Match for his brilliant knock of 67.
